Retro Tuesday: Monster MasherPosted on 17 December 2013by Antonio "GT3000" DelgadoMy generals sat quietly awaiting my orders. The provinces surrounding my keep swarmed with the abominations of my would be usurpers, and intelligence reports pried from captured prisoners showed an ever-increasing tide of them pushing deeper into my territory. They pushed aside my traps, and bested my champions. I was doomed but I would not die outside of the glory of battle. I ordered the last of my armies to the key province holding my line. Raining spells and monsters upon the enemy combatants, I took the field atop my flying chariot. I smite monsters left and right with my mighty hammer. Pigmen, Lizardmen, Insect warriors fell all the same, but alas, my effort proved fruitless as I was struck down under a rain of blows and in the distance I saw my keep burn in an inferno. I had failed. |
